Competition
On February 24, 2024, teams competed to provide solutions for Autism Spectrum Communications & Healthcare Contexts X Digital Health.

This years event was held in person at Raytheon Amphitheater, Northeastern University. ​

The Spring 2024 competition was sponsored by Northeastern's John Martinson Honors Program, Northeastern's College of Science, Northeastern's Bouvé College of Health Sciences, and Massachusetts eHealth Institute.

Taliah, A Tour Guide and Liaison at the Hospital, is a mobile/web application that facilitates easy communication for autistic young adults who are newly navigating the healthcare system. Through virtual reality online simulations and prompts, users can visually learn about and prepare for their healthcare visit. With our service, we hope to make healthcare a safe and accessible environment for all.

Med2Care is a personalized healthcare companion designed to address communication difficulties and anxiety caused by a lack of awareness of what appointments will entail. This app offers three main features, each addressing communication, preparation, and connection with healthcare professionals.
